Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a quarterstaff on his belt, and is pretty ugly. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he usually wears his green robe and has his axe always slung over his shoulder. His white hair is unkempt and raggedy. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Miles was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Performer. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull tan iron scale mail. Her red hair is knotted and matted. Her green eyes peer out from beneath her broad blue hat.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
