History: She was born in a small mountains village. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Melissa alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He got into the Mortician business at a young age. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He tends to his Mortician job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and to get a good night's sleep
