Maynild Thorpe, Female Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: She has a missing left leg. She wears skinny pants and wears a white and red robe with the hood down. Her moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Maynild's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to share knowledge with the world
Ideals: Impeccable, Logical. Flaws: Insane. Bonds: Military. Occupation: Healer
Voice: Puts emphasis on the wrong words

Thomas Gladstone, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He tends to wear a large blue jacket. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. With a patchy auburn beard and wild auburn hair. His gray eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is harsh and unforgiving.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Weaver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Weaver work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Margery Clinton, Female Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This tall, slender woman is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Layabout. Her silver hair is still thick. She is baby faced.
Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Margery was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Margery was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Margery decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Layabout and was forced into it by her family; and to end her boredom
Flaws: Shy, Mundane. Bonds: Family, Mentor, Criminal record. Occupation: Layabout
Voice: Nasally tone
