She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Juliana was born with her mother's beautiful face. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Beatrice took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up halberd and armor she uses now. She's also a talented Slave Trader, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and balancing her hectic life and new courier responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mortician. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and expand his business
