Personality: Henry wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born in the north to a Guard, Henry learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

History: Aldous was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
