History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. After a long history of fighting, Jacoba and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Gerard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Gerard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Gerard decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with.
