History: Shane lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Shane's homeland. Shane decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
