He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Ralf never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting dire rats, the young Percival began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Percival was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Avice was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere.
