History: Eloise was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gifted student she started as a Performer, but she got bored and became a Bounty Hunter. She tends to her Bounty Hunter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and retire the richest woman in the south

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: Born in the east to a Barrister, Geoffrey learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
