His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Alice alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
