Tim Thorpe, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a blue vest and prefers brown and black shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He is portly but not overly obese. His white hair is braided into rings. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.
Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: The child of a Hunter, who enjoyed hunting, Tim was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Tim took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longbow and armor he uses now. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: Human compassion; and he desires power and/or immortality
Flaws: Ugly, Racist. Bonds: Guardian, Nature, Adventurer. Occupation: Carter
Voice: Speaks in third person

Emmeline Sydney, Female Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: She wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her hazel eyes.
Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: Born to a Architect, her mother struggled to pay the bills. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Emmeline alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it.
Flaws: Cynical. Bonds: Poor, Attractive, Enemies. Occupation: Brewer
Voice: Excited and jittery
