Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bookbinder who has hired him part-time. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Anselm was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and she has money and likes to spend it

Description: An older woman who wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), she is not a threatening figure. Her golden hair is singed and shortened. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Server for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: She dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. She carries with her a set of clubs on her belt, each one with a amber on the hilt. She has slicked back black hair. Her amber eyes peer out from beneath her top brown hat.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of dire rats
