The war was a terrible time for her, and Joan does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. When Joan reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: Solomon wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is obsessed with his god.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving Oriel is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her first spouse was a Stylist, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a bellfounder and was forced into it by her family
