Personality: Bertram speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A freak accident while working with his Sellsword mother left him crippled. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
