When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out.
