Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears long strands of topaz and short red dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. Her head has been shaved. She has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Layabout but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ahlyssa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. With a patchy black beard and wild black hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, John is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
