Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

History: Ernest was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
