Personality: Ella is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Ella was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. During her travels, Ella and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ella discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Ella fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Raymond was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Raymond decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. After months of barely getting by, Raymond managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

History: Born to a Priest, his mother struggled to pay the bills. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often
