History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Avelina was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Avelina's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Kyle is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
