History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Ella was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ella's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Avelina hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Avelina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has achieved small success as a Miner.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a miner and was forced into it by her family

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Hadwisa was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and sabotage a competitor

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
