History: Gifted from a young age, Gerard studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gerard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gerard. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. She is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around her ears. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She is a Lamia in disguise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. She's also a talented Sage, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She's in love; and sabotage a competitor

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and expand his business
