History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Dean was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with poetry. She constantly tries to fill her life with poetry. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Crown-heir business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Galiena grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She worked as a nervous Crown-heir and found it very stressful. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.
