History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adelard grew up listening to his father's many stories. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bather they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Weaver, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and wants to raise her children well

Description: This man is very fat, and wears dull red sweaters, loose white pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed greatsword, just in case. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. Justin is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barkeep they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Stableman, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Everard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Scribe. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
