Description: A middle-aged man, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep yellow leather and dull black iron scale mail, and is pretty ugly. His long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Conrad was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Heather lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears tattered old clothes. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has dyed his greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
