He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Theobald never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shoemaker and was forced into it by his family.
