When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Cecily alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Cecily was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
