History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gifted student he started as a Butcher, but he got bored and became a Tanner. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
