Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Maynild was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
