History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Egelina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
