Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Simon is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Simon was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Simon's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Simon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Isabella grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
