History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving William alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, William and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This western woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. With wild chestnut hair. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Avelina never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Dilettante who has hired him part-time. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Charles grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Charles. Being a Dilettante kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
