History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Personality: Melissa is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
