History: Melissa lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Egelina and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Gunter was born with his mother's beautiful face. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He became a Sellsword soon after.
