History: He got into the Sage business at a young age. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Randal grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Randal grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Randal. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Heather was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
