History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Cecily was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
