History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Diggory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Mortician work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. History: Born to a Bounty Hunter, her mother struggled to pay the bills. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
