History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. After months of barely getting by, Juliana managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered drow who tried to eat his hand. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
