History: Melissa was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Description: He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep pastel leather and dull blue iron scale mail. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a red coat. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Alexandre took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up nunchaku and armor he uses now. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against dire rats

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She is dressed in earthy colors with a red and green handkerchief worn on her left side. Her chestnut hair is still thick. Her eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Jacoba will drive conversation. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Mortician work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mortician work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has worked as a Mortician like her mother before her.
