Personality: Gilbert wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He takes great joy in being the best Brewer in town.

History: He got into the Brewer business at a young age. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a Brewer soon after.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to reunite with his old friends

History: She comes from a rich western family. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and she is wracked by social anxiety
