History: He was raised in a desert tribe. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Don never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Being a Carter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born in the west to a Butcher, Adelard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Adelard was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Butcher. He became a Butcher soon after.
