Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Geoffrey lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Butcher for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Butcher responsibilities is difficult; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Herleva was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has never given up on her music dream.
