Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Miner they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Carter, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Eloise never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Alice hails from a village terrorized by drow. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many drow want her driven away.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Bowyer. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Roger lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: To be a Carpenter again; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
