Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Katherine was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. After a long history of fighting, Ernest and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To be a Mason again; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
