Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Manfred was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

History: He was born in a small plains village. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he's in love

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Sailor mother left her crippled. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to get a good night's sleep
