History: She comes from a rich northern family. Through the years after Mary was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Mary's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Priest they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Layabout, and she later adopted a second daughter.
