Description: This man wears dull red sweaters, loose brown pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed rapier, just in case. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized sapphire on his right hand. He sports a flattop hair cut. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He bought a bow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
