Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Melissa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Glassblower for the past few years.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he seems to be bored by most things
