Personality: She is fixated on the number 58. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She got into the Dyer business at a young age. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Emma fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his pickaxe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and is pretty ugly. His hair is short and auburn. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Roland took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carpenter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized tan coat. Sporting a red mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Dustin is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Dustin was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
