History: Patrick lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. History: Born in the west to a Sage, Ida learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Ida alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many goblins want her driven away.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Interpreter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Interpreter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
