Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.
History: She was raised in a island tribe. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and she wants revenge against dire rats

Personality: She is mildly Human supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. With bright golden hair and a scraggly beard. He is baby faced.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He tends to his Barkeep job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy chestnut stubble. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He has a hunchback. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact
